 Training Philosophy.

The DPA suite of Computer Training Software is aimed at providing the student in a short span of time with the basic skills required to start using the application software.

The material was developed as basic skills training for the entry-level user.

In order to reap the full benefit of any course, it is essential that the user obtains a good reference manual that fits his personal style. The School is in a good position to assist the students with this selection through the wide range of books on the subjects handled.

During the presentation of the training material the student is given ample time to practice all the new skills acquired. Review sessions help to reinforce the material.

Structure of the Dpa Suite of training courses.

The material in each course is made up in the form of an animated slide presentation. The slides were composed using text combined with graphical inserts to clearly convey the message in an interesting way.

Each course is made up of approximately 8 lessons presented over a period of 7-8 hours in one to three sessions. Sessions are scheduled to suite the classes. Video and CD inserts serve to bridge the lessons and to provide a review of material covered.

Practice makes perfect.

During the lessons each student is given ample time to practice on his computer.

Classes are limited to a maximum of six students with each lecturer and student working on his/her own computer.

Students are slowly taken from the beginning through each step to maturity. Should a student feel at the end of a course that more practice is required, Dpa will make a computer with interactive training material available for such use.
